Kick off Agroforestry Project meeting at Compagniekreek, Brokopondo

The Centrum voor landbouwkundig onderzoek in Suriname (CELOS), in collaboration with the EMSAGS Project/ NIMOS is carrying out an Agroforestry Project in Brownsweg and Compagniekreek. The kick off meeting of this Agroforestry Project was held on 24 May, 2024 at Compagniekreek with the traditional authority and community members (farmers) that will take part in this project. De full name of this project is “ The introduction of the CELOS Agroforestry model in Brokopondo, grounded in the Enable Rural Innovation (ERI) concept and aimed at enhancing livelihood security and resilience through food security”.
