Presentation of Rapid Biodiversity Assessment Results in Compagniekreek

On Thursday, November 28, ADeKUS held an information session at the MTEC building in Brokopondo to share the results of its Rapid Biodiversity Assessment conducted in Compagniekreek at the beginning of 2023.

During the session the traditional authorities, the District Commissioner of Brokopondo, and members of the Compagniekreek community where present. The findings from this important research provide valuable insights into local biodiversity and contribute to ongoing efforts in sustainable development and nature conservation.

This presentation represents a vital step toward strengthening collaboration and promoting a sustainable future for Suriname through informed action and shared knowledge.
