Youth awareness session for youth of Niew Koffiekamp, Brownsweg and Compagniekreek

Young people are also one of the target groups within the EMSAGS Project. To make young people aware of the danger of mercury and pit intrusion, a youth awareness session was held in Brownsweg for 18 youngsters from Nieuw Koffiekamp, Brownsweg and Compganiekreek in collaboration with ZIJIN Rosebel Gold Mines (RGM) on May 11, 2024. In the next 6 months, these youngsters will make two awareness videos together with a professional scriptwriter and film producer.
