National Validation Session of the draft revised Mining Act and the draft Model Mining Development Agreement

With support from the EMSAGS project, national consultation sessions with various stakeholders were held in August and September 2023. These stakeholder consultations have been important in the overall process for realizing the final concepts regarding the revision of the Mining Act in order to present it to the State Council and the National Assembly.

The national validation session of the draft revised Mining Act was held on Monday, December 4. During this validation session, those present were given the opportunity to centrally discuss their suggestions and/or comments.
