The National Environmental Authority (NMA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are engaged in the multi-year project Improving Environmental Management in the Mining Sector of Suriname, with Emphasis on Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (EMSAGS).
The project is now seeking the services of a qualified Gender Specialist (national consultant) to conduct an assessment of gender aspects of artisanal and small-scale gold mining in the project area Snesi Kondre.
The Terms of Reference (ToR) and Personal History Form for the abovementioned consultancy can be downloaded from the website www.emsags.org or requested via [email protected].
Interested candidates who meet the criteria mentioned in the TOR can send their technical and financial proposal by email, no later than March 9th, 2025, at 00:00 hrs. Suriname time to [email protected]. The subject title of the email should read: “Application for Gender Specialist EMSAGS Project”.
