Call for Consultancy
The Ministry of Natural Resources in collaboration with the National Institute for Environment and Development in Suriname (NIMOS) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are engaged in the multi-year project Improving Environmental Management in the Mining Sector of Suriname, with
Emphasis on Artisanal and Small Scale Gold Mining (EMSAGS).
The EMSAGS project aims to improve environmental management in the mining sector of Suriname, with the emphasis on artisanal and small-scale gold mining as the biggest cause of deforestation in Suriname.
The EMSAGS project invites international consultant(s) for an assessment of the establishment of the Environmental Fund.
The Terms of Reference (ToR) for this positions can be downloaded from the websites www.nimos.org and

Interested candidates who meet the criteria mentioned in the Terms of Reference can send their application by email, no later than 31 May 2024 at 16:00 hrs. Suriname time to [email protected].
